This traditional handmade chicken house and run is carefully crafted by Steve Fisher Woodworking. The Melbourne Chicken House and run provides a home for up to 10 chickens depending on breed. The house is raised which allows you to put the feeder under the floor area of the house. Cleaning is easy thanks to the large access door at the front of the house. This chicken house is ideal for breeding.
Steve Fisher Woodworking is a UK based company with over 48 years combined experience in the manufacture of timber framed buildings. Steve himself is a third generation poultry farmer. Their vast experience in this field allows Steve Fisher Woodworking to design chicken houses, runs, chicken coops and arks that are not only beautiful but also extremely practical and cost effective whilst also ensuring your chickens have the correct environment for their needs. Every chicken house is handmade to the highest standard.
Steve Fisher Woodworking produces chicken runs and dog kennels. The chicken runs are made from Tanalith pressure treated timber that has a long life span and is maintenance free. Each chicken coop floor is a tongue and groove construction. All the floor boards are machined to 12mm on a 38x38mm frame. All screws, hinges, nails and metal work are galvanised or plated. The chicken house roofs are also made by a 12mm tongue and groove construction and covered with a 20kg mineral felt where applicable.
